Information collected on the website
Personal information is collected when you initially register in My Queensland Graduate portal, provide further information through 'My Profile', or complete an 'Application' for a specific vacancy.
The Queensland Government collects your personal details, including your work history, to assist government organisations and agencies in the recruitment and selection of employees. This information will be used in accordance with standard Queensland Government recruitment and selection processes and may be provided to relevant officers within the Queensland Government. This may also include approved third party providers e.g. contracted recruitment consultancies.
Your information will not be otherwise used or disclosed, unless in accordance with the Queensland Government's privacy policy.
Other information that may be collected in order to improve our site, includes:- the type of browser being used;
- how and when you travel through the site;
- the pages and documents accessed; and
- your Internet address.
We will not add any details from your email to a mailing list, and we will not disclose these details to third parties without your consent, unless required by law. We will disclose your email details to the relevant authorities if necessary to protect the safety of the public or to protect the rights and property of the State of Queensland.
Our Internet Service Provider may monitor email traffic for system trouble shooting and maintenance purposes only.
Security
The Queensland Government has taken all reasonable steps to ensure personal information of applicants is secured and protected. Applicants can choose to access their registered information via the Secure Web Server that will encrypt the data while it is transferred through the web. The internal servers in use for this site are protected by firewalls that are continuously monitored.
The site also contains links to non-Queensland Government websites. The Queensland Government is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of such websites.
