 The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:

  • An ability to undertake financial investigations in a law enforcement environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively participate in multi-discipinary teams.

  • Well developed written communication skills including the ability to prepare detailed reports.

  • An ability to research and analyse complex financial matters and prepare quality advice within tight timeframes.

  • An ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and to implement that knowledge within the parameters of relevant legislation and law enforcement methodologies

Qualifications/professional registration/other requirements

  • Certified copies of all qualifications must be produced at time of interview
  • Possession of tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business or Accounting is a requirement.   Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework
  • Must have a current membership of an accounting professional body.
  • Possession of a CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards the qualification.
