Your contribution:

In this role you will assist with the development and delivery of strength, conditioning and recovery programs designed to benefit designated QAS athletes.

• Work collaboratively as part of a support team that creates a high performance environment to provide an integrated program based on the level and needs for individual QAS supported athletes.

• Research, plan/program and deliver high performance strength and conditioning programs that complement the Head Coach's/Coach's developmental philosophy to QAS supported sports/athletes.

• Provide regular feedback (verbal and written) to the relevant stakeholders regarding athlete progress in relation to individual development priorities and sport program objectives.

• Utilise QAS approved systems for athlete programming, monitoring, reporting, and data management.

• Stay informed and abreast of current advancement in strength and conditioning (general and sports specific) training methodologies and technologies.

• Undertake supervision duties of Staff/Junior Staff/Interns and Students as requested and assist with other supplementary roles and projects when required.

A degree qualification in sport and exercise science or agreed equivalent as determined by the Director-General.  Seek advice from the nominated contact officer before applying if equivalency needs to be assessed.

Australian Strength and Conditioning Association Pro Scheme Professional Classification (inclusive of Level 2 Accreditation).

A Post graduate degree in the specific fields would be valued.
