The Digital Services & IT Group is responsible for establishing, leading and managing the digital and technology functions within QCS.

This role is part of a team that is responsible for protecting and securing QCS information assets which includes monitoring and managing threats and vulnerabilities and managing and responding to cyber security incidents.

In this role you will:
 - develop and implement security measures to protect QCS Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems, applications and data
 - manage and maintain QCS ICT gateway security services including departmental firewalls, antivirus, internet and email proxy services and content filtering, intrusion prevention system, SIEM, and DMZ environment
 - conduct security risk assessments to identify internal and external threats to QCS ICT and develop processes to address these
  provide advice to internal and external clients on ICT security issues within QCS
 - contribute to the development, maintenance and implementation of ICT security policies and practices within QCS
  promote security awareness in line with industry best practice and departmental policies
 - support the Manager in the development and review of business proposals and projects from an operational security perspective
  conduct gap analyses of QCS ICT security and implement strategies to address any areas of concern identified
 - perform other duties as directed to enable delivery on business priorities.
