The Far Northern Region is spread across a wide geographical area which requires staff to possess a high level of autonomy, professionalism and flexibility. Far Northern Region has a total of nine PO2 Case Manager positions located in Cairns, Mareeba and Innisfail.

This continuous applicant pool is open for candidates interested in temporary short term employment opportunities as PO2 Case Managers who meet the mandatory employment requirements as detailed in the attached role description. Appointments progressed as a result of this applicant pool (and extension to this appointment) will not extend beyond 12 months.

It is recommended that prospective applicants for this advertisement discuss with their current supervisor support for the application, and  capacity for their release to take up this opportunity.

Applications will be reviewed and considered throughout 2020/2021, if and when Case Manager vacancies are identified. The submission of an application to this applicant pool does not guarantee an offer of employment or an application assessment response from the region.

The positions may range in duration and location throughout the region. Applicants are encouraged to express availability and locations of interest within their application.

The region may also elect to progress a separate EOI for individual positions when considered appropriate.
