The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:

Key accountabilities of the role

  • Demonstrated high level of technical expertise and operational experience working in a forensic computing environment.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of programming, scripting and automating digital workflows.
  • Demonstrated expertise in researching complex technical issues and delivering solutions.
  • Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills including report writing.
  • Demonstrated capacity to deliver quality work within limited timeframes to meet strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, guide and direct subordinate staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and contribute positively within a small team environment.

Qualifications/professional registration/other requirements

  • Certified copies of all qualifications must be produced at time of interview
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated appropriate level of knowledge, expertise and currency in a relevant science/forensic/technical discipline
  • IACIS [International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists] forensic computer examiner certification [highly desirable but not essential]
