About you 

As Principal Executive Officer you will provide strategic and operational advice to the CEO and Chairperson, and manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Commission. You will work directly with the CEO and Chairperson to resolve some of the CCC's most complex issues, and work collaboratively with our leadership team to ensure business initiatives and projects are aligned with our strategic priorities. You will engage with diverse stakeholder groups and undertake strategic projects to deliver improved performance. You may be required to supervise a small team to achieve team objectives.

Possession of tertiary qualifications and/or a professional membership is not a requirement for this role. However, the role does require the ability to interpret complex legislation so tertiary qualifications or significant experience in law, law enforcement or public policy is considered highly desirable. Qualifications acquired from an overseas educational institution will only be accepted where the qualification has been recognised to an equivalent level in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework.
