The Opportunity

Join a dynamic team of tradespeople at QBuild, providing essential services in the construction, maintenance, and restoration of government-owned assets.  Support in the government's response to disaster events and take a lead role in training the next generation of tradespeople,

Mandatory Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Queensland Electrical Work Licence
  •  Electrical trade certificate/qualification (minimum of Certificate III in Electrotechnology or Electrical Fitting)
  • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and low voltage rescue certificate
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent
  • Working knowledge and compliance with current work health, safety and environmental legislation and codes of practice including knowledge and understanding of AS/NZ3000 (The Wiring Rules), Electrical Safety Act 2002, Electrical Safety Regulations 2013, and applicable Electrical Codes of Practice 2013
