The Office of Circular Economy is responsible for leading policies and initiatives to elevate Queensland’s resource recovery performance to one of the best in Australia by developing and implementing actions that recognise the value of waste to the economy as well as facilitate investment in innovation, processing facilities and market development. The department is seeking motivated and collaborative professionals to contribute to this significant agenda.

As the Program Officer you will work in the Circular Economy Programs team to support program design and delivery.
Key tasks include:
• Assist in research and analysis, and the development of documents relating to resource recovery and the circular economy, including background papers, briefing notes, submissions, action plans, program/project plans and public communication.
• Support the development and delivery of the Office of Circular Economy's program design and delivery through development, delivery and continual improvement of business protocols and processes.
• Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with staff and program/project teams within the Office of Circular Economy, the department and external stakeholder organisations.
• Play a key part in contributing to a high performing team to deliver the team's program of work within timeframes, budget, and quality standards.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
