Community Corrections aim to protect the community and reduce reoffending through delivering evidence-informed case management and individualised support.
The Case Manager ensures a high level of community safety through ensuring offender compliance with the reporting requirements and conditions of community-based orders through supervising and case managing offenders.
You will play a vital role in protecting the community, working as part of a dedicated team, you will act as an agent of change to address offending behaviour & encourage rehabilitation, making our communities safer.

Are you an individual who wants to make an impact? A career as a case manager in Community Corrections is an opportunity for you to make a real difference in your community.
As a case manager you will play a key role in maintaining the safety of the community through ensuring offender compliance with reporting requirements and conditions of community-based orders. You will provide rehabilitative opportunities to supervised individuals, aimed at reducing their risk of reoffending.
These roles are based in QCS Southern Region. The District Offices are located at Ipswich, Inala and Toowoomba. This region is committed to diversity, professional maturity & creativity in a complex and evolving practice of Human Services.
To be a successful Case Manager you will need to:
- Understand the role purpose is in ensuring community safety when interviewing individuals and be able to quickly identify, respond and manage risk
- Handle multiple fast-paced and complex demands whilst navigating policy and procedural frameworks to implement daily offender management policies
- Support productive working relationships internally, with service providers and the community
- Display personal drive and integrity
- Communicate with influence
- Show the ability to embrace and respect diversity

To be eligible for this role you must:
- Hold a current driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- You hold a bachelor's degree relevant to human services or criminology fields such as Law, Justice, Humanities, Psychology, Social Sciences, Social Welfare, Health, Education, Business and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.
*Final year students are encouraged to apply for temporary vacancies to be assessed for a talent pool for future permanent appointment once full completion and receipt of formal degree is provided from a recognised tertiary institution.
