We are seeking a person with the ability to:-

  • Contribute to the implementation of relevant actions identified in the Outlook Business Plan within established policies and procedures, as directed.
  • Assist with the delivery of ABL programs for young offenders or those at risk of offending behaviour.
  • Support the Design, develop, and evaluate of ABL programs linked to Youth Justice core Intervention Program objectives.
  • Assist with the delivery and assessment of training in ABL for Government and Non-government staff who work with young offenders or those at risk of offending behaviour.
  • Participate in the development and review of training courses to a national training standard.
  • Establish effective relationships with youth justice staff by providing on-program support and by contributing to the development and maintenance of training plans.
  • Manage risk in relation to staff and participants and comply with any legislation, industry standards, policies and procedures.
  • Undertake administrative tasks relevant to program and training delivery in accordance with departmental policies and procedures and contribute to the good governance and objectives of the directorate and department.
