About Us:
At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.
The ITS team comprises 34 staff and is a part of People and Services, within the Governance and Engagement Division. We provide IT support to the Department and to Ministerial Offices and the Office of the Leader of the Opposition and Premier, prioritising excellence in service provision and high performance.
Your opportunity:
The Director, Cyber Security and IM has overall responsibility for leading the cyber security and IM teams and the development of the Cyber Security strategic plan, technology roadmap and the associated operational plans. You will lead a cyber program to improve the cyber resilience of the department and mature the Information Security Management System (ISMS) as well as the provision of information and records management to the department.
About you:
You possess relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology and cyber security, information management or related discipline as well as significant experience in the I.T field. You also have proven track record of successful leadership, project management and delivery, strategic planning, and execution and development of policy procedures and standards.
