As Project Officer, you will assist business areas across the State of Queensland within the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships division. You’ll be passionate about all things finance and assist the delivery of initiatives that support consistent, effective and efficient business practices.

As the Project Officer you will:
• Co-ordinate and maintain with a high level of integrity, the state-wide systems used to register financial arrangements, including grant agreements, and generate, maintain and reconcile associated funding where relevant.
• Undertake financial investigations, including compliance reviews, and provide administrative governance advice and guidance as required.
• Maintain a high level of quality in the performance of all duties, ensuring adherence to processes and systems, continually seeking improvements in the way in which work is undertaken.
• Negotiate and consult with managers and staff to ensure the efficient delivery of financial administration matters, as well as other departmental business.
• Provide accurate communication to key stakeholders on project administration, financial responsibility and related matters.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
