We have a fantastic permanent opportunity available to join the RoadTek Gold Coast Operations team as a Project Management Support Officer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be a key team member, providing high level human resources and administrative support to the Operations Manager and team.

RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. In this dynamic role, you will co-ordinate, maintain and manage records within the Operations Unit and coordinate and organise the delivery of essential administration services and information to both internal and external clients.

Your accountabilities include:
• Provide accurate, timely and confidential support to the business Operations Unit teams, including preparation and distribution of documentation, project document control, and supervision and maintenance of the Operations Unit project records management system.
• Ensure the efficient management of all correspondence so that all issues are prioritised and directed to the appropriate officer for action, incorporating the coordination of an effective and efficient project document management system.
• Employee Support and Security Management including coordinate health and safety initiatives, manage security aspects, including gate and building keys, remotes, checking cameras, arranging maintenance.
• Prepare agendas and minutes for Team meetings, ensuring all relevant issues are included and follow-up actions are tracked and delivered. Provide administrative support to facilitate effective and productive meetings.
• Ordering and distribution of Uniforms and safety boots.
• Device Management and IT Support Coordination: overseeing the ordering and setup of devices/mobile phones and coordinating issue repairs.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
• You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.

• An exceptional ability to consult, liaise and negotiate confidently and in a clear and concise manner using structured written and oral communication.
• The ability to rapidly develop and maintain relationships through collaboration with your clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
• The ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines.
