About Us
At Norfolk Village State School, we value our students having learning experiences to build them into ‘Creative, Confident and Committed' learners. The school STEM program was first established in 2019 and the school is looking to progress this program. Knowledge in particular of the Australian Curriculum subjects of Science and Technologies (both design and digital aspects of the curriculum area) would be an advantage.
About the Role
As the role is for two teachers, it will be possible to negotiate with the successful applicants the mix of the following responsibilities:
- Continue to articulate and commit to a shared educational STEM vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students
- Teach the AC learning areas of Science and Technologies curriculum P-6 with connection to Maths and Engineering
- Commit to the development of student skills in digital robotics
- Support teaching staff to enhance digital innovation as part of teaching and learning
- Set high standards for student performance.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. - Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
- Working rights in Australia, which means you have, or you are eligible to obtain a valid Australian Visa with work rights (if you're not already an Australian Citizen or resident).
