From creating the visual direction for influencing behaviours of Queenslanders through marketing campaigns, to assisting with creating communication assets for complex police investigations or contributing to the creative material used to engage with our audiences on social media - you will have a front row seat in producing effective and engaging content for our large audiences, that makes a real difference.

Your Key Accountabilities:

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Effectively manage, supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the staff to ensure a service which is both professional and responsive to client needs.
  • Co-ordinate and delegate graphic design projects, monitor their progress and ensure clients are kept fully briefed on their project.
  • Design and produce artwork for annual reports, brochures, posters, booklets, logos and displays, including the direction of artwork from design through to print stage.
  • Provide expert advice to project teams, individual clients and senior management on the design and development of publications, promotional material and displays in response to the identified needs of clients.
  • Liaise with clients, committees and project teams on quality graphic design to ensure that the most effective form of communication is used and that the projects are within budget and time frames.
  • Ensure the supervision, education and development of the Section's staff.
  • Actively contribute to the development of effective publication services which will inform and educate staff, interest groups, industry and the general public, of the Queensland Police Service's policies, programs and services.

Role Requirements:

Mandatory

  • Possession of an Associate Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
