As Chief Digital Officer, you will provide strategic advice and direction to the development and improvement of EDQ ‘s business information and supporting information technology systems.

You will:
Strategically lead ICT planning and integration across the organisation and manage the delivery of digital business platforms to improve service delivery and customer experience.

  • Cultivate strong business partnerships and key stakeholder relationships across EDQ and with external providers.
  • Provide expert advice on EDQ's data and system structures guiding digital planning and design, and investment decision-making
  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise architecture approach and design, including organisation-wide ‘blueprints', design artefacts, guidelines, and investment strategies
  • Work closely with critical stakeholders, both internal and external to EDQ to advance the digital agenda and translate business needs into clear technical requirements for delivery by vendors and partners
  • Ensure that ICT Service Level Agreements (SLA) and contracts are in place with service partners and external organisations and that they are managed effectively whilst constantly ensuring that value is being received through these arrangements.
  • Provide oversight and provision of expert advice on the delivery of ICT projects within/or impacting on EDQ and ensure that these are aligned with the Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture (QGEA) portfolio, program and project management and assurance policy.
  • Analyse and provide strategic advice to the ED Business Operations and the executive leadership team with respect to the delivery of digital opportunities, business improvements and systems.
