We are looking for a team member that has a good understanding of estate (tenure) management, visitor communications and First Nations co-stewardship. As the Project Officer, you will assist in creating sustainable visitor experiences within the SEQ region's protected areas.
As a Project Officer, you will:
• Be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team dedicated to developing and perfecting visitor management strategies.
• hands-on assistance to internal team members and external partners, enhancing the recreational experience in our natural reserves.
• Prepare comprehensive briefings, reports, and correspondence.
About you
The ideal candidate will posses
· Exceptional organisational capabilities with attention to detail.
· Strong problem solving and Analytical skills.
· Great Communications skills - written and verbal.
· Understanding of Legislation and Policy.
· Ability to assist with First Nations Administrative support - particularly through working groups, advisory groups and other forms of engagement.
