Are you passionate about environmental policy and making a real difference? The Office of the Great Barrier Reef and World Heritage is seeking a Manager, Reef Policy to lead a dynamic team in preserving one of Queensland’s most iconic treasures.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing Reef Protection Regulations, including implementation and statutory review.
- Leading a cross-jurisdictional review of the Reef 2050 Water Quality Improvement Plan.
- Developing innovative policy solutions for emerging Reef-related issues.
- Coordinating responses to Commonwealth and agency agendas impacting the Reef.
As part of the Department of Environment, Science, Innovation and Tourism, you’ll collaborate with the Australian Government, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, industry, Traditional Owners, and the community to deliver the Reef 2050 Plan.
