We are looking for AO5 Regional Biosecurity Senior Support Officer to join our high performing team in Biosecurity Queensland. You will:

• Support the development of program initiatives plans and proposals, to improve the quality of program outcomes.  
• Draft clear, concise, high-quality documents designed to support clear and consistent communication in ways appropriate to each reading audience.
• Support a positive culture within the program utilising strong interpersonal communication to enable delivery of effective and timely administrative and program initiatives.

As our AO5 Regional Biosecurity Senior Support Officer, you will provide high-level confidential executive and administrative support to the Regional Biosecurity Lead and undertake program duties as required.

You will know you're achieving success in the role when you:

  • Are providing streamlined administrative support.
  • Implementing business and process improvement initiatives.
  • Can manage your own work priorities, work autonomously, ensuring assigned tasks are undertaken promptly and meet the business deliverables.
  • Are actively contributing as a member of a high-performing team.

It is a requirement for all Biosecurity Queensland positions to have a criminal history check completed.
