We are seeking candidates for future Project Manager (AO8) roles. We will assess applications regularly as temporary vacancies arise. If deemed suitable you may be contacted to determine your interest in a specific role. Pre-employment screening, forms part of our selection process, therefore you will be asked to attend an interview and submit detailed documentation prior to your commencement in a temporary role.

About the role
• Management and/or contribution to initiatives that could include (but not limited to) :
o Business change/process improvement projects
o Digitally enabled business change projects
o Customer service transformation and digitisation projects
o Strategic procurement projects
o Working collaboratively with other Project Managers to support delivery of at/risk high profile projects..
• Lead, influence and contribute to the successful delivery of program/s and projects in accordance with DLGWV project and program management governance and delivery frameworks based on Prince2, PMBOK and Agile methodologies.
• Proactive leadership for project and program delivery through effective, timely and efficient status reporting, scheduling, change, communication, scope, risk, issue, cost, budget, quality assurance, lessons, benefits management, reporting, tracking, monitoring and escalation management.
• Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of complex reports, submissions, briefing notes, presentations, and correspondence for consideration by senior management and executive management.
• Facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the department, and foster relationships through lessons learned and management of expectations.
• Exercise judgement, authority, and high-level influence to effectively coordinate the management of divisional requirements and competing priorities.
• Build and manage positive working relationships and partnerships with colleagues and with other levels of government, industry, and non-government organisations to achieve Program and Projects outcomes and deliver on Government commitments.
• Mentor, coach and provide advice and guidance to team members

• Strong communication skills to build internal and external relationships to deliver projects supported by appropriate consultation and engagement.
