We are seeking a high performing Engineer (Traffic) with an interest and expertise in traffic and road safety engineering to join our Traffic Engineering Practice team on the Gold Coast.

In the role of Engineer (Traffic) in the Traffic Engineering Practice team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Road Safety Mass Action Plans, Safer Roads Sooner proposals, Black Spot Program proposals, Speed Limit Reviews, traffic safety investigations and public enquires.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:
• Knowledge of traffic engineering principals relating to road safety and desire to improve capacity, reduce congestion and maintain safety on state-controlled roads.
• Demonstrated ability to provide traffic engineering advice and support to external and internal clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, specialising in managing internal and external relationships and working in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work individually or collectively on traffic safety projects under constrained time frames.
