Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) is the Queensland Government’s land use planning and property development agency. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Planner (AO5) to join our dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Planner, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Calculate infrastructure charges and provide advice to applicants on the interpretation of EDQ infrastructure charging policy.
• Support the day-to-day program of EDQ's infrastructure offset functions, including undertaking assessments, keeping accurate records as well as monitoring and reporting the progression of the division's offset workload.
• Assist in developing and implementing monitoring and tracking tools and set up processes to ensure relevant parties are meeting obligations as set out in existing Infrastructure Agreements.
• Contribute to the preparation and implementation of business and process improvements, policies, procedures and guidelines related to offsets and financials that deliver on EDQ's objectives

What we are looking for:
• Bachelor level qualification in areas of Built Environment or Finance.
• Capability with Excel and GIS will be highly regarded.
• Experience interpreting infrastructure charges policies and calculating infrastructure charges.
• Demonstrates flexibility to changing expectations by proactively adapting own approach to reflect new requirements.
• Demonstrates careful planning and organisation to achieve results.
• Ability to prioritise projects and tasks efficiently, in line with team commitments.
• Ability to gain insight into issues by analysing the available information in a critical manner.
