An exciting opportunity exists for a Nurse Unit Manager for Acute and Restorative Care unit which is a specialised 32 bed unit at Nambour General Hospital that provides care across rehabilitation, geriatric specialist evaluation and management, cognitive care and BPSD optimisation and management.
Rehabilitation Care in which the primary clinical purpose or treatment goal is improvement in the functioning of a patient with an impairment, activity limitation or participation restriction due to a health condition where the patient is capable of actively participating.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for explicit professional portfolio content and context expertise.
- Expertise in the provision of direct care and/or support of systems and/or education and/or research and/or professional leadership.
- Consultation and provision of professional advice.
- Responsibility for a cohort of staff reporting to the position.
Remuneration value up to $164,212 p.a., comprising salary between $132,562 - $143,924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (NRG7). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
