Role details

The Hinterland Mental Health Service is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

Coordinate and oversee the administrative and business support activities of the Hinterland Mental Health, Alcohol & Other Drugs Service based in Moranbah. The position delivers efficient and confidential business and administrative support to a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal delivery of clinical services.

About the Team

Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug Service

The Mental Health and AOD Service is comprised on eight clinical teams across the MHHS. The Mental Health Service is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum for people with severe and complex mental health problems. Our services aim to be consumer focused, and recovery orientated and are provided in a variety of setting including community, an acute inpatient unit, hospitals and emergency departments.

About our Hospital and Health Service

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
