Senior Advisor (Asset Management & Reliability)

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Advisor (Asset Management and Reliability) to join our RoadTek team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the efficient, cost-effective, whole-of-life maintenance of our equipment fleet.

RoadTek Fleet consists of Managing 1300+ Fleet assets spread across 9 operations units. The workshop teams maintain a core fleet to satisfy operational unit requirements to facilitate the delivery of transport infrastructure maintenance, works and services across Queensland.

This is a permanent, full-time position and can be performed from any of our RoadTek office locations (Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Warwick, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or Brisbane CBD).

You'll provide expert guidance on asset reliability and develop innovative maintenance strategies that support comprehensive fleet management and longterm operational success.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Plan and manage preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of the equipment fleet.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies using technical data and performance analysis to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate and collaborate across teams and suppliers to ensure timely repairs, effective service delivery, and strong business relationships.
• Oversee equipment lifecycle planning, including rolling replacement programs and whole-of-life asset decisions.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, including warranty management and cost control initiatives.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Valid Queensland ‘C' class driver's licence or equivalent.
• A reasonable amount of travel consistent with industry standards will be required throughout the State.
