About us:
The Technology and Systems Portfolio Delivery Office (T+S PDO) supports the T+S Portfolio Board to successfully deliver the Translink portfolio of information and communication technology (ICT), ICT-enabled and digital initiatives through effective management, oversight and governance. This includes ensuring Translink's ICT assets are meeting their requirements under the Information Security Management System.

Key responsibilities
In the role of Senior Advisor (Technology and Systems Portfolio Delivery Office) you will support the Director in managing and operating the Technology and Systems Portfolio Board. You will maintain a high level of portfolio administration and apply specialised knowledge in project and portfolio governance and assurance to assist the Technology and Systems Portfolio Board in achieving its objectives and is aligned with whole-of-government ICT processes and requirements.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Assist in the provision of coaching, review, support and assurance activities for project boards and project managers operating under the Technology and Systems Portfolio Board to ensure good project and portfolio outcomes.
• Contribute to the design, development, maintenance and continuous improvement of project and portfolio activities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of portfolio information and analysis, including a three year forward program of work.
• Manage the Technology and Systems Portfolio Board intranet presence to ensure it contains accurate, timely and useful information.
• Manage the preparation and review of portfolio reports to ensure accurate, timely and useful information, including internal and external (that is, Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group, ISC, Reportable Projects) reports.
• Contribute to the collation and consolidation of information required for portfolio documentation, including logs for actions, risks, issues, performance tracking, opportunities and lessons learned.
• Provide ongoing analysis regarding portfolio investment decisions, including analysis into information management, investment planning and prioritisation, and ongoing business improvement.
• Providing secretariat support to the Technology and Systems Portfolio Board and the subordinate groups and actively consult with program and project members to ensure all the above.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

Desirable requirements of the role:
• Experience managing projects and/or supporting portfolios using P3O® and/or PRINCE2.
• Experience using Queensland government project management and assurance frameworks and reporting requirements.
• Certification in P3O® and/or PRINCE2.
• Appropriate tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in Business, Project Management and/or Information Technology.
