As a Principal Inspector, you'll play a critical role in upholding labour hire laws, protecting vulnerable workers, and ensuring businesses meet their obligations under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct compliance activities such as risk assessments, audits, and investigations.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, case files, and administrative decisions.
  • Provide expert advice and educate stakeholders about their rights and obligations.
  • Lead, train, and mentor other compliance officers within the LHLCU.
  • Use your expertise to interpret legislation and identify compliance risks.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong legislative interpretation and compliance experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Mandatory requirements:

  • A valid driver's licence.
  • Flexibility to travel across Queensland (including overnight stays when required).
