As a member of the DDO you will be part of a team that supports active management of whole of department governance and priority program delivery. You will develop and maintain systems and processes that drive data quality and analytics capability to support active management and governance of portfolio delivery and performance reporting. You will also deliver improvements to the systems we use to collect and visualise our data within the Microsoft 365 application suite, to empower our Executive and project team leaders to contribute to, and gain insight from, clear; accurate; high-level reporting.

As the Principal Project Officer, you will:
Design, implement and manage portfolio delivery and performance reporting data and information arrangements, including governance, protocols and processes for collection, storage, analysis and publishing, with internal and external data managers within the Microsoft 365 application suite.
Analyse and interpret data and metrics within the PRAD managed systems to inform portfolio delivery performance monitoring and evaluation, and other issues of significance to the department and its partners, stakeholders and customers.
Develop an information framework for the PRAD Integrated Reporting Tool (IRT) and drive its implementation to improve its data quality and analytics capability to support active management and governance of portfolio delivery and performance reporting.
Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with system users, data managers and senior and executive management within the department.
Prepare high-quality data visualisations, presentations, and briefing materials that communicate key insights clearly as well as user support and training materials, to strengthen user compliance, data ownership and PRAD insight communication.
Be a key member in building and maintaining a high performing team leaning into Agile ways of working to deliver the team's program of work within timeframes, budget and quality standards.
