Ranger in Charge

Rangers work in partnership with local communities and other stakeholders to contribute to the land management, recreational and conservation outcomes across the protected areas. The primary focus of this role is the management of Protected Areas (18,257 hectares) in the Inglewood and Moonie areas. A key priority will be ensuring departmental assets and visitor infrastructure are maintained to a high standard. The
position will lead a team of rangers responsible for the day-to-day management of parks and forests within the Southern Downs Management Unit.
