Join our team as an Administration Officer within Strategic Wildlife Operations at Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service and Partnerships (QPWS&P). This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the conservation and sustainable management of Queensland's iconic species, including crocodiles and flying-foxes, while contributing to a workplace culture that values safety, equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion.
As an Administration Officer, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team working to protect and conserve Queensland's native wildlife. Your role will involve providing
essential administrative, financial, and human resource support to ensure the smooth operation of the team. You will manage departmental databases, maintain accurate records, and produce reports and statistical information to support decision-making. Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will liaise with team members, senior staff, and external stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information on administrative matters, including human resource management, financial management, and general office administration. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide clear advice will be crucial in supporting the team's goals.
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual with a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to

Your problem-solving skills and ability to manage projects, coordinate workflows, and meet deadlines will be highly valued. This role also offers the chance to contribute to meaningful conservation efforts. By supporting the team's work, you will help balance the protection of Queensland's unique plants and animals with the management of human-wildlife interactions. Your efforts will directly support the development and evaluation of policies and regulatory solutions that address key conservation challenges.
