This role is critical in ensuring water resources are managed effectively to benefit core industries, such as agriculture. You will also support project delivery through administrative task tracking and workflow management, as well as coordinate meetings, including invitations, agendas, minutes, and action tracking. The Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented AO4 Project Officer to support a key Queensland Government election commitment to analyse all 23 of the state's water plans. This role is critical in ensuring water resources are managed effectively to benefit core industries, such as agriculture. Your responsibilities will include content development and quality assurance for presentations, departmental and Ministerial briefings, public communication, and reporting. Key Duties & Accountabilities:

  • As a project officer, you will provide administrative business support to assist delivery of the Unlocking Water Project
  • With attention to detail, you will support the preparation of briefing and presentation material, and quality checking documents
  • Content drafting and review to support internal and external documents and communication pieces
  • Provide effective administrative support for human resourcing, financial and operational services
  • Acting as secretariat for meetings, booking travel and communicating financial and project reporting updates
  • Administrative task tracking to support project delivery and workflow management
