You’ll play a pivotal role in contributing to the Wet Tropics World Heritage Guides an innovative training program designed to provide industry-leading expertise in visitor engagement, interpretation, and delivering world-class experiences in the Wet Tropics region. Your Contribution
- Support the development and delivery of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Guides program, an innovative training initiative that builds industry-leading expertise in visitor engagement, interpretation, and world-class tourism experiences.
- Assist with content reviews, user testing and community engagement activities.
- Source creative assets such as images, maps, and videos, ensuring compliance with licensing and credit requirements.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace that is free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment.
- Contribute to a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.

About you
- You are passionate about conservation, tourism, and creating meaningful connections between people and nature.
- You have administration and project management skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- You possess communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to liaise effectively with a range of partners and stakeholders
- You have well-developed research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- You are a collaborative team member who can work effectively in a team environment while also thriving when working autonomously.
- You have contemporary knowledge of tourism and visitor management, protected area management, and/or interpretation
- You are committed to workplace safety, equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion, and actively contribute to fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.
