As Senior Advisor, you will coordinate and project manage the supply of uniform and personal protective equipment across the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships. You'll be passionate about all things finance, including research and analysis of information, policy and planning initiatives, debt management and contract management.

As the Senior Advisor (Finance), you will:
• Provide accurate and timely expert advice and training to management and staff pertaining to budget management and financial processes in accordance with relevant financial legislation, policies and procedures.
• Undertake research, analysis and investigation into financial management issues, including debt management and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare and analyse budgets, monthly financial reports, variance analysis, financial submissions and correspondence on financial matters.
• Support a team to provide quality service delivery to clients.
• Lead the financial auditing program, including undertaking self audits, making recommendations for improvements and finalising outstanding actions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective coordination of business processes and the flow of information.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace that is free from bullying, discrimination and harassment.
