TARGETED VACANCY - INDENTIFIED ROLE

As a Senior Project Officer, you will report directly to the Principal Project Officer, Native Title Assessment, and play a vital role in delivering native title assessment services. Your work will ensure QPWS&P meets its legislative obligations and fosters effective partnerships with Traditional Owners to protect and manage Queensland's unique landscapes.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that make a real impact on the preservation of Queensland's natural and cultural heritage.
To excel in this role, you will need:
· A strong understanding of the Native Title Act 1993 and its application in Queensland.
· Demonstrated experience in project management and the coordination of technical support services.
· Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Traditional Owners and community groups.
· Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think laterally and implement innovative solutions.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear advice and support.
· A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
