Are you passionate about compliance and keen to lead the team who help drive a strategic approach to park and forest management across SEQ Region? Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services and Partnerships (QPWS & P) is seeking an AO5 Senior Ranger – Compliance to focus on managing and providing advice on QWPS compliance issues across the region; providing staff training; overseeing leases, proposed development and grazing permits; resolving compliance and visitor management issues. The position also provides advice on Native Title compliance matters. If you are keen to interpret and advise on legislation and policy; apply strategic thinking and high-level problem-solving skills; facilitate solutions to complex and sometimes conflicting issues, we want to hear from you!

About the Role 
This position is a leadership opportunity in the Technical Support unit. The job is diverse, driving a strategic and consistent approach to compliance management across QPWS's South East Queensland region by supporting operational staff and collaborating with Statewide stakeholders.

Tasks include negotiating revocation and regulation, providing training and supervision, facilitating solutions, resolving complex and sometimes conflicting compliance issues. The position provides advice on Native Title compliance matters and manages one compliance Ranger.
