RoadTek Gold Coast Operations are seeking a high performing and innovative Project Management Support Officer to join their Civil team on a temporary basis for up to 12 months.

RoadTek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads. We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland.

In the role of Project Management Support Officer, you will provide high level administrative support to the project team staff. You will co-ordinate, maintain and manage records within the project and coordinate and organise the delivery of essential administration services and information to both internal and external clients.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide accurate, timely and confidential support to the Operations Unit teams.
  • Ensure the efficient management of all project correspondence.
  • Assist in the completion of monthly reports in consultation with the Project Managers; and
  • Participate in operational plan activities and project work, as required.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions:

  • Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
  • Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent.
  • You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.

  • Proven experience in operational business support including supporting project managers and teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
