About the role

This position is based in Brisbane CBD and flexible work arrangements can be considered upon application, including working remotely at a regional QBCC office subject to availability.  If working from a regional office, regular travel to the Brisbane office may be required.

In this role you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of data and AI. You'll build powerful cloud‑native data science platforms, bring cutting‑edge ML models into production at scale, and craft the data products that unlock everything from predictive insights to natural language intelligence. You'll be the guardian of data quality and responsible AI, designing governance, metadata, and monitoring frameworks that keep systems trustworthy and compliant. You'll also champion modern engineering practices - automation, CI/CD, reusable ML components - while keeping high‑performance pipelines running smoothly.
