As the Manager, ICT Procurement, you will:
- Manage and support the provision of ICT procurement and asset management services, ensuring compliance with plans and procedures, adherence with whole-of-government and departmental directions and utilisation of Queensland Government Information Technology Contracting (QITC).
- Develop and manage strategic sourcing strategies for ICT procurement and ensure alignment with broader Information Services and departmental plans and initiatives.
- Manage, support and monitor vendor and contract management processes, the development of contract management procedures and the utilisation of QITC.
- Establish procurement strategy, policy, standards, methods and processes, that support ICT governance and essential 8 standards.
- Represent the Department and manage liaison and negotiation with the other state Government departments, other levels of government and the non-government sector, where applicable, to ensure coordinated strategies and policies.
- Develop and maintain strong working and business relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Prepare a range of complex plans and reports including whole-of-Government requirements, strategic service delivery outcomes and business performance for the senior management team and stakeholders.
- Foster continuous innovation and improvement to ensure that procurement, asset and contract management practices reflect best practice.
