The Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers (DLGWV) is at the forefront of driving sustainable growth across Queensland. The Role:
Operating from within South Region, you will provide high‑quality executive services to support the Executive Director and the South Region Executive Regional Leadership Team. You will lead and manage projects and initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of executive services and work as a dynamic, collaborative member of a high‑performing team.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordinate meetings, briefings and workflows, ensuring documentation is timely, accurate and ready for decision‑making.
• Provide efficient governance support, including meeting scheduling, distribution of papers, action tracking and minutes.
• Lead and contribute to projects that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Prepare high‑quality correspondence, reports, briefing notes and documentation for a range of stakeholders.
• Support leadership teams with planning, reporting and information management requirements.
• Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support effective service delivery.
• Promote a positive, safe and outcomes‑focused workplace culture.
About You:
• Strong experience in executive or project support roles within complex environments.
• Skills in MECS, Aurion, SAP, PowerBI, CTM Travel or similar systems are highly regarded.
• Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and relationship‑building skills.
• A current “C” Class licence is desirable; occasional travel may be required.
