The opportunity as our AO7 Portfolio Risk Analyst, you will:
• Provide guidance and coaching to stakeholders regarding risk and assurance management and analytics to contribute to the building capabilities within the program.
• Identify, analyse and interpret trends and patterns relating to risk.
• Convert data into consumable information that is readily understood, develop reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate analytical insights.
• Prepare and guide the preparation of timely reporting and analysis for senior executives
• Perform a range of quality assurance and control activities to ensure compliance with Queensland Government policies and business expectations.
• Undertake audits and assurance activities and engage with stakeholders to develop high quality reports with recommendations based upon robust analysis.
• Provide high-level verbal and written reports, briefs, presentations, submissions and advice to Executive and Board which reflect a deep knowledge of industry standards, contemporary approaches to risk, assurance, governance and management and the ability to distil complex matters into succinct, clear and articulate communications.
• Provide insightful recommendations based on data and statistical analysis and visualise these through business intelligence tools to engage with executives and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in defining, scoping and planning risk and assurance requirements to meet business requirements including building integrations between key stakeholders.
• Actively contribute to building a positive workplace culture to encourage inclusiveness, health and well-being, ethical behaviour and building positive performance teams.
You may also have
• Relevant qualification, training and/or experience in the field of compliance, auditing and assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a detailed analysis and reporting of risk activities and results.
• Demonstrated experience working in fast moving complex major projects/workstreams.
• Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective compliance analysis and modelling.
• Proven ability to solve problems and provide strategic advice.
