Sport and Racing delivers quality services by providing responsive and integrated support services for sport, recreation and racing opportunities for all Queenslanders. The team drives grassroots sport participation across the State through programs and services while also delivering the capital planning, build and maintenance program for the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games
(the Department). Ultimately the Department plays a key role in enabling Queensland's Sport Strategy and delivering the Government's commitments and priorities.

In this role you will:
• Manage the Business Systems team to deliver high quality service and support across a range of Software as a Service (SaaS) and internal Business Systems ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and deliverables of Sport and Racing.
• Provide leadership to the Business Systems team including fostering a shared commitment to the vision and values of SR and the department.
• Manage the planning, development, procurement, configuration, implementation and monitoring of the delivery of programs using SaaS and Business Systems.
• Manage Sport and Racing SaaS and internal Business Systems to ensure they operate in accordance with relevant legislation, whole of government ICT governance standards and Compliance frameworks, strategic objectives, policies and contemporary best practice standards.
• Negotiate effective outcomes with a range of key stakeholders within SR and the software vendor(s) to ensure the efficient, effective implementation/configuration of system(s).
• Manage contracts to ensure all KPI's are delivered.
• Foster a culture of cooperation, team work, high quality people management, commitment to excellence and a professional ethic which ensures that Sport and Racing priorities are achieved.
• Lead by example in ensuring direct reports and staff demonstrate the agreed to principles of honesty, trust, accountability, transparency and inclusiveness.
• Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
