Team Leader
Ecotourism & Industry Engagement; Permissions Management & Ecotourism; Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships; South East QLD region
This position leads a small team responsible for developing legislative mechanisms, systems, policies and procedures and co-ordinating activities and uses carried out on land managed by QPWS to ensure sustainable outcomes. These activities and
uses include grazing, trusteeships, offsets, electricity and communication services.
This position will also contribute to negotiating with industry and other stakeholders to deliver these regulatory and operational approaches to estate management.

What you need for this role:
• Role model Team Leader leadership behaviours as outlined in the Leadership competencies for Queensland.
• High level knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire a high level of knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Nature Conservation Act 1992 and the Forestry Act 1959 as well as systems and practices relevant to the planning and management of protected areas and State forests.
• Supports productive working relationships—builds and sustains positive relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients; leads by example.
• Supports strategic direction—understands and supports the organisation's vision, mission and business objectives.
