The Role

Working in the Water Measurement, Strategic Compliance and Investigations team within Regulation and Operational Support, you will be involved in a range of activities to support the team develop and implement statewide water measurement policy, frameworks and initiatives. You will be contributing to an enthusiastic team that values a positive, outcomes focused and inclusive culture to deliver our business.

Key Accountabilities:
* Support the daily management of telemetry programs and other activities, contributing to the successful implementation of Queensland's Non-Urban Water Measurement Policy.
* Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including team members, regional offices, and industry groups to achieve key project outcomes.
* Develop and enhance procedures, business processes, data management tools and templates to support water measurement policies and standards.
* Lead and assist with innovative business improvements that enhance water measurement practices and policies.
* Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence.
* Perform other tasks as required to achieve shared objectives and deliver results.

About You
• There are no mandatory requirements for this role, however tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in natural resource management, environmental science and management or environmental law would be highly regarded.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and SharePoint, Power BI or any other water information system management and reporting tools would be highly regarded.
