The Office of the Chief Executive Officer assists with achieving EDQ's objectives for economic prosperity and liveable communities by providing strategic direction, stakeholder leadership and responsive governance.
This includes providing corporate and correspondence support to the wider EDQ team to help lead and deliver infrastructure and property projects for Queensland's economic benefit and drive a range of development projects. These include large complex urban sites which support urban renewal, regional residential projects which respond to community need, industrial activities which generate on-going employment opportunities and infrastructure projects which activate further development.
As Correspondence Officer, you will:
• Coordinate all Ministerial and internally generated correspondence for EDQ, ensuring a high standard within deadlines and protocols. This would include, but not be limited to, briefing notes, correspondence, trip briefs, extension/reallocation/NRN requests.
• Coordinate deadlines and provide quality assurance in line with the Departmental Style Guide to Ministerial and Chief Executive Officer briefing notes and correspondence.
• Provide advice and support business group staff with respect to the preparation of Ministerial and Chief Executive Officer briefing notes and correspondence.
• Monitor and manage correspondence reports.
• Coordinate and manage Parliamentary and Cabinet documentation, ensuring a high standard within deadlines and protocols. This would include, but not be limited to, parliamentary briefs, Questions on Notice (QONs), Possible Parliamentary Questions (PPQs), CBRC and Cabinet briefs, Executive Council Minutes, Community Cabinet requests, Estimates briefs, Governor's Bi-Monthly Briefs.
• Coordinate and manage all discussion paper requests from Strategic Policy.
• Provide high level analytical and problem-solving skills, exercise initiative, sound judgment and develop innovative solutions in a work environment with conflicting deadlines and priorities.
