In the role of Senior Project Manager, you will program manage the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects through the provision of technical expertise, project management experience and the administration of contracts to the design, construction and maintenance processes associated with project delivery.

Some of your accountabilities include:
• Project manage multiple road infrastructure projects, or more complex projects.
• Prepare and manage tenders and estimates.
• Ensure all operational system procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of projects to a high and consistent standard.
• Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of project staff that would promote effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude.
• Identify and engage the necessary internal and external expertise to deliver project requirements.
• Capture and share project outcomes and learnings, implement and foster best practice technology and project management methodologies.
• Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
• A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). The employee may be required to mentor and supervise the work of non RPEQs.
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's license or equivalent.
• You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to expenses and allowances for such travel.
• TMR has a Drug and Alcohol Policy which applies to all Employees, Workers and Visitors to TMR workplaces. This may include random, post incident and reasonable suspicion testing during employment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

Desirable requirements:
• A Diploma in Project Management.
• Traffic Management Design capability.
• Erosion & Sediment Control Design capability.
