This role provides operational and project support across a broad range of learning and development activities. Through collaboration with senior leaders, managers and staff, this role helps develop organisational capability and supports a flexible, professional and values-driven workforce.

As the Senior Learning and Development Officer, you will take responsibility and undertake duties for this role which includes but is not limited to the below key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning, scheduling and delivery of learning and development programs across QRIDA.
- Support the design and continuous improvement of online learning resources and structures using QRIDA's LMS.
- Review and evaluate internal and external learning activities, monitor participant feedback and recommend improvements to enhance learning outcomes and workforce capability.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable external training providers and facilitators, with consideration to quality, consistency and value for money.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on learning and development processes, contemporary training practices and available professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate learning and development records within QRIDA's LMS, ensuring training administration and data management processes meet compliance requirements.
- Support the coordination and analysis of QRIDA's Working for Queensland Survey and assist in translating insights into practical actions that strengthen employee engagement and culture.

Our Role and Purpose
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for over 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
