Manager, Workforce Strategy and Capability

This role leads the development of organisational wide strategies that enable an engaged, capable and flexible workforce contributing towards a positive workplace culture and effective alignment to the QRIDA strategic plan.

Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the development of People and Culture projects, process improvements, business improvements, workforce capability, strategic workforce planning, equity and diversity planning, and operational workforce management.
- Provide strategic and tactical input from a people and culture perspective into organisational design initiatives to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives and contemporary industry practices.
- Provide change management advice and support on complex organisational workplace change and transformation activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder readiness analysis and workforce engagement plans.

Our Role and Purpose
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.
As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for more than 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Minister for Manufacturing, and Minister for Regional and Rural Development.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
