We are seeking a Principal Project Officer (AO7) to provide operational leadership within Digital Operations Support. Digital Operations Supports sits within the Digital and Information Services Branch and is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the Department's enterprise digital platform.

As a Principal Project Officer (AO7) within Digital Operations Support, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of application support services across a complex and evolving digital environment. You will provide operational leadership to ensure incidents and service requests are managed effectively, support platform maintenance activities, and mentor staff in service management and customer engagement practices.

The role works closely with technical specialists, service partners and business stakeholders to drive timely, high-quality outcomes, and to identify and implement continuous service improvements. You will oversee day-to-day operational activities, manage priorities and risks, and provide well-researched advice and documentation. Success in this role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and the ability to work confidently across technical and non-technical audiences in a customer-focused service environment
