Ranger - Regional Fire Team

Join the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (SEQR) Fire Team in a role that combines outdoor fieldwork with office-based tasks. Use your fire management skills to develop and implement burn plans that protect the region’s natural and cultural landscapes.
You’ll assist with planned burns, bushfire response, and on-ground operations while working closely with teams and stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to refine your skills and contribute to the delivery of the (SEQ) Region’s fire management program.

To be successful in the role, you will also have:
- Experience in fire management and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated cultural capability.
- Demonstrated experience leading small teams.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite.
- GIS skills would be highly regarded.
